I'm pretty sure my blog has been hacked into, judging by all the crazy stuff that happens to it. The scary man left, but now all of a sudden I have another blog... I don't even know if there's anything I can do about it. Oh well, life goes on.
One thing that I've noticed lately about life is that people say a lot of stuff about doing nice things, or doing the right things, and generally have good intentions. It seems that they say all these things, and maybe even try them, but in the grand scheme of things they suck at actually doing them. They try, and they mean it too, but if it ends up happening that they might actually have to sacrifice something, or maybe take a little hurt themselves to avoid hurting someone else, it turns into something different. When this happens it all of a sudden it gets harder to remember what those right things were, and to see the good behind those intentions. Now doing things the easy way seems like it might be the right thing to do too, whether it actually is or not. They get to the point where they don't care about what will happen down the road, how much they'll hurt themselves, or how they'll hurt others. They're just concerned with the here and now, and that's just fine by them as long as they don't have to put any work into it. Those people are sickening.
By the way, read Air John's ca-razy dream. It does a body good.
Sometimes I feel like writing about things in a non-musical fashion. This is where those things end up.

I'm done with school.
I know, can you believe it? Anyway, Destroyer, Paul, and myself are having an open house on Sunday the 25th from 3:00 - 5:00 PM CST at First United Methodist Church (924 N. 11th St. Bismarck, ND 58501), and if you're reading this you're invited. I don't know the specifics, but there will be food and it will be free.

"Old" today!
I don't have it yet. It sucks to be me. I guess I'll just have to listen to the e-card another dozen or so times. I can't even believe how cold it is in my basement right now. I can't feel my toes.
Update: I got "Old" at Rainbow for 17 bucks, but I figured if any cd's worth 17 bucks, it'd be this one. I've already listened to it 4 times, but have yet to sit down and put some headphones on and focus on it. Good news is, I can feel my toes. Bad news is, I can't feel my hands.

Dancing is fun.
That is something I never thought I'd say, but look there, I said it. Brandon and Vicky got married yesterday, that rules for them. I think they're in Arizona or something now. Their reception was a blast-and-a-half. I never thought I'd ever enjoy dancing at all, but when German Steve came and threw me on the ground, I figured I'd give it a shot, and I ended up enjoying myself. I should give more things shots, I might enjoy them. Anyway, moving on.
Right now all I want to do is write songs, record something, and play a rock show. I don't know if there are going to be any more Rock Services until next fall. I should find that out. If there aren't I might just have services every Sunday anyway. Whether it's just me, or my rocking fellows, or even if I'm the only one in the building I think I should do it. What do you think? Let me know if you ever talk to me again. Anyway, moving on again.
Something I've come to realize is that girls have a very apocalyptic view on things. Seems like they live every day as if it were their last. I mean every time they part company, there's this massive hug fest! It's like "I'll see you in a few hours! *HUG* Bye! *CRY* The world might end between now and then, so I better hug you again! *HUG*". Ok, now that I've offended half of the human race, I think I'll go to bed.

Leave, Don't Die
Sometimes it's funny how big a deal people make when other people leave. They act like they'll never see each other again. I mean, it's sad and all, but the only reason you'll never see someone again is if they die, or you don't make the effort to see each other again. Good-byes are sad, but not as sad as people make them. I think anyway.

The most amazing thing in the world
Whoever decided to build a big gym and nail corn on the walls is a genius. The Corn Palace blows my mind. Anyway, I'm still in Mitchell... Isn't that cool? I got a hair-cut yesterday. At Wal-Mart. When they say super, they mean it. I also went to a drive in movie last night, which is pretty cool... If you're in the front seat that is, my neck still hurts from trying to see. Ok, I'm going to go to church now. I probably won't have anymore posts from Mitchell after this. Just regular Bismarck posts, sorry.

METAL GEAR SOLID EXPLODES ONTO NINTENDO GAMECUBE
"Konami and Nintendo Collaborate to Deliver Blockbuster Action Title to Nintendo GameCube
REDWOOD CITY, CA. - May 1, 2003 - Continuing to broaden the Nintendo GameCubeTM library, Konami and Nintendo today announced Konami will publish a new Metal Gear adventure exclusive for Nintendo GameCube. Metal Gear Solid The Twin SnakesTM combines the thrilling story of the original Metal Gear Solid game with the jaw-dropping graphics and unparalleled gameplay found in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of LibertyTM. The game is scheduled to ship later this year in North America and Europe, followed by the Japanese launch in early 2004.
Bringing heart-pounding espionage action home to gamers, Metal Gear Solid is one of the most highly-regarded action series ever created. Metal Gear Solid The Twin SnakesTM for Nintendo GameCube will combine stunning next generation graphics and gameplay, an epic storyline and unmatched content designed specifically for mature gamers.
Under the guidance of Konami's Hideo Kojima and Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo's exclusive second-party developer, Silicon Knights, is working with Konami to develop the game. Silicon Knights previously developed last year's award-winning Eternal Darkness: Sanity's RequiemTM for Nintendo GameCube.
"I am tremendously excited to introduce a unique Metal Gear Solid experience to a new audience of gamers as well as collaborate with my mentor in game design, Mr. Miyamoto, on Metal Gear Solid The Twin SnakesTM for Nintendo GameCube," says Hideo Kojima, vice president, Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, Inc.
"Mr. Kojima and I have spoken about this project for some time, and I'm excited our ideas have matched so perfectly," adds Shigeru Miyamoto, senior managing director of Entertainment Analysis and Development Division, Nintendo Co., Ltd. "It's this shared passion for game creation that has allowed us to collaborate to bring a special Metal Gear project exclusively for Nintendo GameCube."
Metal Gear Solid The Twin SnakesTM will be featured at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on May 14 - 16 in the South Hall at Konami Booth 900 and in the West Hall at Nintendo Booth 2816."
Alright, did you catch that? Hideo Kojima, Shigeru Miyamoto, Konami, AND Silicon Knights! All working on this freaking game. That rules to the point of absurdity.

Shameless plug!
Hey, just so everybody knows, my employer Rock 30 Games just got their website up. If you like used games at better prices than most other stores, you should at least check it out. Oh there's also free shipping on orders over $75, so that's a pretty sweet deal. Anyway, I'm done. I'll put up some more reviews in the not too distant future.

Uhh... Right.
Ok, I'm pretty sure my blog is possesed by some demonic force. I just went to it and all there was was a small picture of a shadow of a guy and a girl in the corner, nothing else. The guy shadow had a camera, and the girl shadow was making a gun with her hands and pointing at the guy shadow. WEIRD.

Pete Yorn has no track # 13 on his cd. He has # 12 and # 14, but no # 13. That strikes me as odd. I think instead of naming his new cd "Day I Forgot", he should have named it "Track I Forgot".
